Julie Crews Johnson was born and raised right here in Baker County. She has spent over 20 years serving our county as an Assistant Public Defender. With two decades of service and as a lifetime resident in our county, Friends of Julie Crews Johnson feel that she has a unique familiarity with the people and justice system in Baker County.

After high school, she attended the University of North Florida, graduating Summa Cum Laude with a bachelor’s degree in economics and criminal justice, then graduating with honors from the University of Florida Levin College of Law in 1999. As a law graduate, she was an honored member of the Order of the Coif (top 10% of class) and Who’s Who among American Legal Students in the nation.

What do Julie’s educational accomplishments mean to the voters in Baker County? It means Julie studied hard, worked hard, and graduated law school at the top of her class with one goal in mind.
